No one can answer you properly if we don't know the specifications of the location you'll be shooting in. Also you don't shoot with deep focus because you don't have to worry about focusing but because it will help you push the story .

You can get everything in focus from increasing the F stop from let's say F1.8 to F11 . Then ,everything will be in focus even with your 50mm.
