Do You Agree With These Poll Results? - The Toughest Genre To Produuce

I would say that, that is not every genre. But if the question is ment to be only out of those selected, i'd say yes for the most part, but i'd put comedy down a notch, and action up a notch.

archived-videos Micro budget feature - KERBEROS - trailer up

I have 2 concerns. I enjoyed the cinematography a lot. But it seems that you guys(the editor), actually made the picture worse by crushing the clacks and darkening the film overall. It may be an artistic choice, but I would really recommend to not crush the blacks and darken the film, because...

archived-videos Behind the Scenes RED Shoot

Allways awesome. I just shot a film for under $300, and it felt great. Except it was shot with an hvx/letus, skateboard dolly/and lowel&mole light kit, but still felt great :)

archived-videos "good to me" music video, shot HD with canon mk2

The Canon Mark ii is a DSLR that shoots video. It looks like they used a very low F-stop, maybe a 1.8, and probably on a mid legth lens like a 70mm, which is what would give it that shallow DOF. Unfortunately its not very interesting, and the song isnt very good.

    It happened again...

It's not your fault in the least bit. You shouldn't even have to ask if they are in frame, the DP or Director or AC or Script Sup. should say something. They sound like amatures and that's all.

archived-videos Trailers - First Film, Second Film

I thought the second was much much cleaner. Reminded me of 'Crash'. Didn't like the split screen at the end.

archived-videos Half short/half music video all Bluejuice

Good. I really enjoyed it. Very catchy and creative. Had a bit of a problem with the spoken dialouge, it sounded 'noisey' and not very clean. Keep on man.

    cinematography Wardrobes on camera (colors)

As they said, thin lines, and thin checkerd shirts will cause wierd looks, and bright whites or solid whites will be a bit fussy with exposure. Any solid bright colors that are 'poppy' should be used with care.

    Nice to meet you! (help?)

Not sure what position your in. But maybe hiring a small crew to shoot it, you'll get a better quality product, but it'll cost you a bit.

    RED SCARLET

Not sure why people think Scarlett is goign to be cheap. They see the body price and think itll cost in that range. RED body is $16,500. Most RED kits are 30k-60k.

Also Batteries, charger, media cards, monitor, Veiw finder (you want to see right?), Rails to mount everything, baseplate, lenses, and that's just what you need to have the camera work. I'd love to see you get the cost close to $3000.
