archived-videos A teaser trailer to my $600 feature movie

I'm very impressed man. And not to be very rude (can't help it) but I think Harmonica needs to see this thread to see what can be achieved with a T2i and the kit lens with very little money and equipment.

    $100,000.00 Question

    1) Buy a car for about $30-35k Invest around $5-10k Put about $25-30k in savings. Put rest into checking account before I plan what to buy. Will end up going mostly on every day things like groceries, food, gas, etc. but I might splurge and buy a couple nice lenses, a new camera, and...

cinematography Is it worth getting a full frame camera?

People on this forum have often said the camera is less important than the other elements such as, script, sound, acting, etc. Upgrading your camera will not improve your films. Also, it will actually be harder to focus with a full frame sensor. You said DPs have cameras like yours. Do you...

cinematography Panasonic GH2 vs Canon 650d

Oh nice I stand corrected. Unfortunately that only supports Aperture and that is great for filmmakers exclusively but I started out with stills and continue today taking photos. If only that supported AF and stabilization. Metabones has a good one with all that for Canon to NEX. Hopefully they...

    archived-videos Short Action Scene

Looks really stylish! You seem to know what you're doing in terms of camera work and editing. Nice. Things I didn't like: 1)Too dark 2) those widescreen bars are huge. Change the aspect ratio 3) next time have some context! :D Not sure what's going on.

cinematography Panasonic GH2 vs Canon 650d

Well that's not really available yet in stores. And it costs near double the 600D or GH2. It's a great camera though! I'd love to buy one if there was an electronic adapter with which I could use my Canon lenses. But no luck so far.
