Good stuff, I really enjoy abstract work like that. The shots looked really great. and like the above poster. How'd you to the still shots in the air.
what did you shoot this with?
I agree with the above poster, beach shot is great. Not so sure about the sword fight. But maybe thats because I used to fence and "fake" fights stand out real bad to me.
In all the mirror shots I masked out the mirrors in after effects, then replaced whtat hould be the mirror image with another shot. so basically each time in front of the mirror was shot twice. once for the "real" person and once for the reflection.
On the website filmfights.com they do themed challenges ever few weeks. This weeks is to film noir, and was to be titled " the suitcase ". Other requirments, no clear face shots, must be b&w and no direct character to character dialogue. Given the conditions, this is what I came up with. I'm...
Wow thanks for the good feedback guys. For the mirror effects I didn't green screen, though that would have made it a lot easier. Mostly it was just creative camera placement and then masking with AfterEffects. For the one where the guy bends down in front of the mirror, I made a mask for the...
Back at it again making an abstract kinda thing with music and some kind of story if you reach in to your imagination enough. I've spent entirely too much time on it for what it is, But I hope people still think its alright. As always I look forward to comments/suggestions...

zensteve thanks for the comments, To be honest I could make up good story about the connection between the male and female. But there wasn't anything intentional aside from what I have available to work with. The blown out white bit, I was aiming to try and get a back lit silohette type look...
Hey, This is one of those film with no plan and just see what you can come up with in the editing process. Its pretty random, but I was just curious to see what other people thought of it.

I totally dig it man. I especially like the concept of doing it on the back of a polaroid. reminds me of when we used to take pictures with poloroids and draw in them with our fingernails before they were "dry". I thought your music choice was really good to, set the mood well for me.
I'm new, and this seemed like a fun thread to jump in to the action with. I picked up a new microphone, got some new lights. Also got permission from Bands to use some tracks in the project I"m working on. I'm a big fan of one of the bands so it was pretty sweet to actually be in email...
