    Wicker Park vs. Salem Park

Welcome to Indie Talk..... Great looking website. I had to mute my speakers becasue I couldn't turn off the music. I'm a slow reader so the music grates after sometime. That's just me though. I am looking forward to seeing a trailer. If the website is any indication of the work put into...

I was just looking over your website. How come you haven't posted a link to "Trauma" in the screening room? I just watched it and I am sure some other people would be interested in seeing it.

    archived-videos Short: "Sticky Wisdom"

I agree to disagree Part of me agrees with Zensteve and says leave it. I also like the idea of the bumper sticker motif opening titles. I thought having some bumper stickers throughout the film would have been good so I think having them in the title would work well to. The only bumper...

    Camcorder and Computer Video

So I'm reading the Oct 2004 issue of CACV, the title of the article is HOW TO PUT YOUR VIDEOS ON THE WEB, and who should have a few quotes in the article, none other than Sonnyboo's Peter John Ross. The article ( a good read) even contains a picture. Kudos to Peter..... Great stuff.....

archived-videos Grudge Match, a dark documentary

Good stuff. Funny concept. I laughed when the patients/rivals appeared. I think I would have split a gut if you could have held out longer to mention they were from the psyche ward. Playing up the sisters determination to defeat their foes and their intensity in trying to do so would have...

    kill bill alarm noise thing

I'm sure some Hollywood exec has a script for an "Ironside" movie remake/reimagining on his desk some where, waiting to be made admist all the other remakes (take a number please). So anyone unfamiliar with it, I'm sure it will be coming to a theater near you.

    archived-videos Short: "Sticky Wisdom"

You were losing me early on, but brought me back with the creative dialogue. Once you got away from just the interview portions (which ran long) and focused on the inter workings of Sticky Wisdom (trademark that name, it's a gem) the film picked up and delivered. Good job given the time...

    archived-videos Always Late

For 48 hours it was most impressive, even the orginality. I don't have much expeience but it seems given the amount of time that it would be so easy to settle for a tried and true formula. Great stuff....

Currently in Production... (what are you all up to now?)

I guess I should explain what I meany by "epic short film". The idea behind calling it an epic, due to the numerous locations (in initial draft) the film, if paced correctly should almost have an epic feel to it. Vast landscape shots throughout Seoul mixed with some interior work mixed with a...

Currently in Production... (what are you all up to now?)

I am penning the first draft of a screenplay for my epic short film Once Upon a Time in Seoul. I plan on doing a location revision and then a talent revision before the final draft/shooting script. I am looking to start shooting on Mini DV in August. It is basically an action film I came up...

    Writer's Rituals

I tend to have ADHD when it comes to writing. Sometimes I am on a roll and can't move the pen fast enough while others times I have to force myself to jot down a sentence or two. I don't fight it. I only get worried if I go a few weeks without any type of creative impulse. When I get "in the...

    archived-videos Concupiscence - comedy (7 min)

Liked it... Noticed one continuity blurp... After she catches him spinning in the chair you cut to a shot of her and you see his watch in the frame but in the next scene he hasn't walked over to stand by her yet. The boss guy was great...would've liked to see more of him.
