I was on vacation all last week in the Outer Banks. Nags Head, NC Spent the whole week shooting pool, swimming in a pool, hanging in the hot tube and chillin on the beach.

It's a free upgrade for FCP 4 Users is what read, It has alot of other upgrades other then the HD capabilities. I'm curious to see if any has upgraded and found cliches or problems with it yet.

I'm currently using FCP 4 and I'm considering upgrading to FCP HD. Just curious if anyone else has done this yet and did you like the upgrade or not. I like what I've read about it so far, but I'm always carefull when it comes to upgrading software.

Nothin is down on paper yet, but the story line is worked out in my head. I have to say it is a broad genre, but mystery is one of the harder styles to write and not sound cheesy or fake.

Horror 100% I've been writing horror screen plays since I was 12, I watch every horror film I can even if it's the worst thing I've ever seen just so I can make sure that when I write something I can try my best to keep it as original as possible. Sci-Fi is a close second though.

I have Both a PC and a Mac and IMO i would say the mac with FCP would blow the PC out the water. Even just steaming live video I've scene macs with less proccessor speeds stream smoother then PC's. The mac BUS speed is higher and it's a more stable system for editing video.

We're In, We've got about 10 G's worth of equipment that we haven't really had a chance to use to it's fullest extent. Will there be a place to critique the video’s. I would want to hear both the good and the bad on our films.

I personally liked all 3 movies. The Matrix was written to be a stand alone movie with so that if the movie didn't do that well a sequel wouldn't have been needed for closure. Reloaded was needed to fill in the blanks since the story was so well though out and detailed it required explanation...

Has Warner Brothers secured the rights to make the 5th movie? When they bought the rights there were only the 4 books. I’ve heard that they were in negotiations but I haven’t heard anything concrete yet. There’s also a rumor that the 5th movie will be 4 hours long with an intermission.

I've been using FCP 4 and I have to say I love it, I haven't used very many other programs, but I started using it with no prior knowledge of the programn and picked it up pretty quick.

I'll be 26 this August.

Edit---My bad miss read your post. I use the Memorex DVD's with FCP and DVD pro and I haven't had to many problems. Most of the problems I've had were formatting, but that was operator error.
