    archived-videos Horror Trailer

It was quite nice, and it'll be good to see the full feature. As Robcbh said, it does seem like just a bunch of kids from the same building, but I see that as a positive rather than a negative - it adds to the realism, if anything. What I maybe would have said is tone down the overly colorful...

    archived-videos Percy Frazier (Web Series)

That short was hilarious! It did a great job of pretending to be a terrible conspiracy show! The only thing I've got to say at the moment is that posters 1 and 3 are fantastic, but poster 2 is very... poorly done in comparison. Can't wait to see how this goes :)

    archived-videos DEPART FROM ME (sci-fi)

Very nice! Amazing visual effects, and the shots were very poetic, matching the beautiful backing track. Amazing work :)

archived-videos Live Action Alan Wake: The Taken (Fan Film)

It was a good effort at portraying the story of the game, I'll give you that (the game itself became confusing towards the end, at least to me). However, there are some major problems, mainly to do with the clarity of the story, the camerawork, shots used and acting - so, a lot, I guess. The...

archived-videos Does this trailer make you want to see the movie?

With trailers, and the films themselves, the music should match the type of action on screen - Hot Fuzz managed to mix action and comedy elements together very well, and you can see the trailer here: http://youtu.be/y8hqExgrxQU Notice the pauses in the background music to emphasize the comedy...

    Zombie Film Locations

I'm fairly well off if I ever need to film a zombie film of some sort, because I live in a village inhabited by old people - even in the middle of the day the streets are fairly empty. As someone said before though, time is fairly important, especially for the atmosphere of the film (night time...

    archived-videos Amateurs- A comedy webseries

Well, after watching the first episode I thought it was just another awkward comedy series, but the second video was a definite improvement over the first. Each had something to laugh at at least, but really you can kind of tell you've just sat down and read off of a script - the environment...

    archived-videos Soleil/Lune

I thought it was pretty nice, and it kept on topic throughout - the only thing that frustrated me slightly was the repeated use of the same imagery, over and over again. Now that may be linking in to "you only want to focus on the good and not the bad" thing Alyssa was talking about, but...

archived-videos Feedback on my grad film teaser trailer?

Fever blister? I thought that was just the effects of being a messy eater.

Wow, that guy had a terrible, terrible day. Nice video, an enjoyable watch :)

archived-videos Feedback on my grad film teaser trailer?

There's not really much to comment on in the trailer, but it's an interesting concept - the only thing that urks me is the voice of the guy on the documentary, which doesn't seem to fit with the tone, but it does it's job of letting you know it's a part of a nature programme, so it's good enough.

    archived-videos Tick on Film fights

I thought it was obvious enough, what with him peeking through the blinds in the previous couple of shots, and I understood that clearly they weren't actually friends and the bomber was just being a bit of a douche, it just seemed slightly off. Not enough to affect the experience much though...

archived-videos Changes - my first music video

It was a nice video. Good synchronisation of the singer with the song. One of the main problems I see is the pacing of the video seems to be out of sync with the song - like the fast shot changes and the seemingly random placing of the black-and-white movie shots. The pacing for the normal...

Good to hear you're having a good time :) And good luck with your next project!

archived-videos My 7D sci-fi music video for Moby

Oh lord, that was amazing! Very well done! The story fit perfectly with the lyrics, the actual content fit perfectly with the story, and somehow you managed to make even the static-action shots (like the long section focusing on the woman's face) and long shots fit perfectly with the fast paced...

    archived-videos Tick on Film fights

That is one jazzy looking bomb! The characters seemed to be absolutely perfect in terms of how they were made to look - the sweating bomb defusor and the straight walking sour-expression killer (no offence ;)). The only thing I would have said is if that cigarette was going to be used to light...

archived-videos The Foreign Exchange (my second short)

This was meant to be a comedy, right? Good, then you did it fine. The main problem I see with it is the comedy:action ratio and the acting your cast chose because of it - the actors and way the sound presents each shot feels like it's meant to be subtle comedy, but the script (and the writer's...

archived-videos Student Film "The Art of Gettin' It In"

Quite a nice video, I enjoyed watching it :) I just thought I'd get that out of the way before going ahead and nitpicking at certain things - the things below aren't reasons to not like your film, but simply things you can improve upon, at least in my opinion (which could very well be wrong)...
