    Abandoned building

Alcove that is crazy! What is the world coming to? Was that in the States? There was one here a while ago where a lady was taking a park to court because she almost got hit by a cricket ball as she was walking past. They had to change the rules so you couldn't hit the ball for 6 (out of the...

Should I go ahead with a movie shoot with no PSM?

Ray, will it be possible to buy the features individually or do I have to buy the box-set? I'm not sure I can sit through twelve hours.

    Checkmate - My script

You mean intend, right??? :D Like ray said, the scene itself is fine. Good job. Why not just write a book then? In my mind, a screenplay should be the blueprint for the film. We should (for the most part) only be seeing what is happening on screen. It's fine just writing for yourself (ie. in...

Should I go ahead with a movie shoot with no PSM?

I have held auditions at a bar/cafe and held auditions at a local library. I have had actors audition at my house. I have been to an actors house to have him read for a part. I even had an actor give an audition in the street once! What exactly is the problem??? ^This.

Should I go ahead with a movie shoot with no PSM?

H44 should act like the boss from 'Office Space'. "Yeah...so, I'm gonna need you to come in and audition on Saturday."

    A kite maybe?

Should I go ahead with a movie shoot with no PSM?

No, it doesn't. You want actors who can't audition to want to audition? Why? You know what, I change my answer. I think you shouldn't go ahead with this movie. (I'm pretty sure that's the answer you were hoping for anyway.) Maybe find a new hobby for now. Sorry if that's blunt but if you can't...

Sounds good. Personally I like number 2 best.

    Gary Kurtz disses toys.

Yeah I can see where he's coming from, but like he says; Can you blame them then for looking over the writers shoulders? It is a business after all. Personally I never felt 'Return of the Jedi' was all that different to 'Empire Strikes Back' anyway in terms of "story and character". In fact...

Crediting actors that have been cut

If I remember right Christopher Lee got cut from the theatrical version of "LOTR: Return of the King" and still got a closing credit. Or perhaps they were just crediting all the key actors in the entire trilogy??? I'm with you though, if I were an actor I don't think I'd want my name in...

movies What's the last film you watched? And rate it!

I just watched 'The Killing' recently and loved it. The way the story unfolded was very interesting, following multiple characters around/jumping back and forwards in the story, a little Reservoir Dogs-esque only about 40 years earlier. Otherwise "2001" is a masterpiece in every sense of the...

Should I go ahead with a movie shoot with no PSM?

Pardon my ignorance, what does PSM stand for?  Harmonica44, I'm with MileCreations, I think you should go for it. As WalterB suggested, doesn't your actor know any others actor who would want to be involved? There's got to be someone you can get?? Otherwise post another (wider?)...

    Such a relief...

Haha with that I can concur. The monorail episode is classic. "It's more of a Shelbyville idea..." Whenever I hear 'dental plan' I think "Lisa needs braces" and whenever I hear the song Iron Man I think "na na na na na na na vote for me". There are countless examples from that show actually.
