still have a canon hf200 that I cannot use....

If it was a problem with the file type, it would still recognise the camera was connected, but you'd get an error when trying to copy or open the files. This sounds like a driver problem. Make sure your motherboard drivers are all working properly. I've not used Vista, sorry, so I can't advise...

    Goodfellas.. Amazing or Amazing?

Once...America is one of my favourite films EVER. I've had a giant poster of it that's gone everywhere that i've moved since I first saw the film, about 6 years ago.

    Goodfellas.. Amazing or Amazing?

This seems to be a popular opinion among fans of the genre, but sometimes i'm not so sure. Why is The Godfathers "of course" better? The complexity, depth and extremely slow pacing of the story (1, 2 and 3) can actually put people off watching it, and it certainly doesn't appeal to some, but...

    Elephant by Gus Van Sant..

Yeah I really love this film too. It's one of those films I don't tell a lot of people about, because I think you have to have a very particular taste to understand and ultimately enjoy it. It's a very intriguing observation of modern society, and what's even more interesting to me is that the...

    Biopic Advice

Ah, I hear great things about that film, I have to watch it soon! That sounds like a good way of doing things, but what if they don't like the end-product? Do you get anything for your efforts/time or is it a case of starting over? Then again, of course they'll like it! Now stop milling about...

    Any suggestions?

I'd like to write a script for you. How about you think of an idea and write a synopsis (up to 500 words, summarising the story). Then i'll write it up for you, including a cast/scene list and budget sheet. Is there a theme? Is it advertised online anywhere so that we can see the details?

    Biopic Advice

Congratulations on the offer! I'm interested in the setup of the deal you've been offered - how payment is going to be metered, and in what time-frame etc. Things like that. Would you PM me about it? It's a side of screenwriting I have no knowledge on, yet. But i've read a bit about options...

    Disconnected - Production Thread

Well, I don't know where to start with this. I've loved all of your shorts that i've seen, and it's an honour to have seen a preview of DISCONNECTED. I could tell from the very opening scenes that this would be amazing. The use of V.O gets the situation across quickly and efficiently, but...
