    Children and Horror

I'm 14 and I've always liked horror movies. I watched The Ring and The Grudge when I was about 11/12. I've always handled horrors well though, and not been too freaked out about it. Especially not so much when I just start thinking about how the movie was made, that the pop up was just a clever...

movies What's the last film you watched? And rate it!

Just seen The Avengers! Great film. 9/10. Visual effects and humour was top notch. Like Justin said, suprised that some of it was filmed on the 5D, a great encouragament to indie filmmakers.

I've dealt with something similar, though not as bad. Just someone who I tried to get for a movie who kept messing around and wouldn't operate the camera properly. Just let him off easy, or give him a job on set that doesn't involve him talking to a lot of the actors. What job does he specialize in?

Is using a clapper board really necessary in the age of scratch tracks?

I used it one time for a really short indie film with just a couple of us. It worked good and was handy for adding the sound effects in later in post. It also helped me organize the clips by thumbnail which were jumbled around in my computer. I think they really do help a lot and it will save...

I was thinking of getting it but was wary as it's over $300. The testamonials are good enough though.
