Can someone tell me what kind of effects were used?
There is a way to accomplish this in post as well. In terms of blurs, zooms and focus...programs like after effects, Composite Lab pro and many others can be used to keyframe them. In other words you can animate the focus/blur to be as sharp or blurry as you want...and at exactly the moment you...- jkikerx78

How do I accomplish this effect?
I use Composite Lab pro, you can get the effect in there by doing a simple color grade and then adding a grain filter...super easy! The program also comes with a huge list of stock filters that you can use and change. It's a little expensive, but it gives you a great deal of control over the image.- jkikerx78
