Love this film. Great scene, but actually there two dialogue scenes in that one. There is boss with his note book trying to remember girl's name and tarantino with madonna and dicks, dicks, dicks - it's a set up for the first conflict. When harvey keitel grabs the bosse's notebook that is...

And i'm not saying that scene with dialogues can't go over three minutes, sure it can. But there should be purpose for that, some kind of conflict, it should be intriguing. Not just two people standing and telling each other their lives. Still want to see some examples )

There are also couple of things i would like to add: i'm on page 25, it means that i just spent 25 minutes in front of the screen watching the film you wrote, and there is nothing really happening. Normally, i would expect to be introduced to main character and understand character's desires and...

Well, i' ve just read ten pages of "life as a screenplay". And all ten pages is one scene. There is a dialogue for the first three pages with nothing going on and there is no obvious purpose of that dialogue. Then it's another seven pages of a dialogue. It's ten minutes of just talking...

Hello guys. Sorry for my english, but... I'm looking for a native english speaker screenwriter. So, i'm looking for a person, who can write...

You should check out "Hardcore Henry". It's a film by Russian filmmaker Ilya Naishuller. Two hours of pov. It's crazy ) He also shot a video called "Bad motherfucket" in 2013 and a video for the band called The weeknd. He is a master of pov directing.

directing Short Film - All POV

I don't think you should ask someone that. If you feel pov works for you, it works with your budget, it works with your schedule, you should definitely go with pov. The only way to see if the film is great and not boring is to shoot the film and see it for yourself. Sill there are some things...

Well, i can tell you why the twist doesn't work from where i see it. The beginning is great. There is some kind of mystery. Then you tell us that she almost killed someone through Rachel's dialog with the police officer. You tell us that she had a reason for killing that someone (it's not quite...

Geezer, it's a great story you've got there. Well written. But my question is - what's the idea behind that story? I mean, like, what are you trying to tell us with it?
