    f/0.95 lenses on cameras

I've used the 25mm and being able to open up to 0.95 is a blessing for the guerilla filmmaker who wants to keep his lighting setup to the minimal. Shooting indoors with a simple practical lamp ? Fuck yeah.

    f/0.95 lenses on cameras

How would that help in the 0.95 matter ? These ultra-fast lenses are scarce any way. If you really want them, you'd be best pick the camera these lenses were designed for.

Not especially, but if you know AE basics, it should be easy. I'd offer to do it but I don't ave the time.

editing The Importance of Typography & Titles in Film

Speaking of texte. I LOL so hard when people put credits at the beginning of their short movie. Seriously, unless you're staring George Clooney, nobody cares about some random dudes.

Can low production budget effect a deal?

Yeah Rodriguez, while lying on the actual budget didn't it make it sound a few millions. Make sure the budget you give is still realistic compared to what's still left to do.

Can low production budget effect a deal?

Read Robert Rodriguez book 'Rebel without a Crew' He went through the same thing. He spent 7k on his Mariachi and wanted the distributors to believe he spent a lot more. Seriously, read the book or at least the part concerning that issue, you'll learn a lot of practical stuff.

    NEW LENS :) Samyang 14mm

The histogram on ML is a blessing. As any histogram on any monitor. The LCD screen is not enough to judge exposure. That being said, I'm looking forward for some footage !

How does this guy's camera get so bright at night?

His point is still proven : a fast lens is not enough to get enough light at night. We still need to know what he means by fast lens. And we still need to see the kindda of footage he's going for. And we also need to stop feeding the troll :/.

I'm talking about the link of the "good" shot, the result you want to achieve.

    archived-videos Wedding Highlights - Critic !

A thousand thanks ! That's the kindda of criticism I came looking for ! I didn't notice these flaws and for a simple reason. I went trough every footage, selecting short sections that I found usable and put them on my timeline. When I was done with all the clips (which took two small days), I...

How does this guy's camera get so bright at night?

Where the fuck is this clear night video ? How are we supposed to answer about something we can't even check ? This is so fuckin' stupid.

    I need a crew. Who's from london?

He's not yelling. He's being clear. And there are a few typos but nothing horrifying. I'm serious, I'd be in London, I'd send him an e-mail to enquire about his scripts. You'd be a fool not to take the opportunity to befriend a fellow filmmaker (unless, you're at the top of the industry and...

    archived-videos Wedding Highlights - Critic !

I tried more rythmic songs like Wedding Cocek (was played too). It's a cool song but it just doesn't work with this edit which is rich of dancing footage (and they were dancing to Embraceable You). I don't remember the other songs that were played. Didn't you feel like the DJ shot at 2:39 was...

    archived-videos Wedding Highlights - Critic !

The flickering is there, sometimes more than others. I have no idea where it comes from, probably the lighting in the hall. I'm hoping it's not too much noticeable for profane eyes because there anything I can do in post to deal with it. But the warping is weird, I'll look into it. The music...

    archived-videos Wedding Highlights - Critic !

For the wedding movies experts in here, how long do you think the full version should be ? I'm afraid I don't have enough material to make it longer than 40 minutes. Most of it will be live music played by bands or friends and speeches. The rest is random footage of the food and the dancing.

Wow, just saw this thread. Sorry dude, I know how it must feel. I hate people without word and can't understand the first posters who said it's not their job. How did it end up ?
