Ugh, this is a trainwreck. Both films are masterpieces. Mifune is a legend and Kurosawa is possibly the greatest director who ever lived, but saying Yojimbo (one of my favourite films) totally eclipses A Fistful of Dollars is pretty retarded, as is trying to discredit how good Eastwood was/is.

How come everyone missed Duel off the Speilberg list? Easily one of my best and one of the most underrated movies ever made.

Thats incredible. As long as they're used well then they're a useful tool in telling a story. I don't buy into these hard and fast rules (apart from formatting) when it comes to screenplays.
