    Auditioning for extras

Thanks guys. I don't need to worry about wearing logo t-shirts, it says I have to wear my best business suit. Now I'm curious of what kind of scene this is!

movies What's the last film you watched? And rate it!

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides - 5/10 Honestly, if it aired on T.V, I wouldn't be surprised. The cinematography was weak, Johnny Depp played a watered down version of Jack Sparrow, and everything was just uninspired. Thor- 8/10 Pretty entertaining film! I was actually surprised. I...

    lighting Lighting at night/outside

Mostly in a street, and maybe a few in a forest. I just don;t want it to have that huge glaring light you see in documentaries.

    lighting Lighting at night/outside

How would you use lighting outside at night-time without it looking obvious that there is light in the picture? I always have this problem.

    This kind of bugs me...

They really do. It's like when I finally watch the picture, I already know what's going on, and can easily predict what will happen next. And I try avoiding watching trailers on the net as much as possible. It makes the trailer better when first discovered in the theater.

    This kind of bugs me...

I don't really like it when studios release multiple clips of their latest film on youtube and all over talk shows and stuff. I feel like the whole purpose of going to the cinema is ruined when they do that, and when they also spoil cameos like they did with Tropic Thunder and The Expendables. I...

archived-videos My Evil Ex (my first short film)

It's okay Murdock. I'm sorry if I looked like a douche rocket defending myself when I asked for a response. How can I get better if no one will tell me what I did wrong? It's going to be hard though, with my next video, to work with the audio and everything (money is not on my side at the...

    The Ward - John Carpenter

I haven't seen it, but I'm hoping for the best and fearing the worst. He is a great horror director. And he's also a great composer too.

archived-videos My Evil Ex (my first short film)

I wasn't trying to get offensive. I just didn't understand your respond because you didn't explain the "fundamentals" well enough. But thanks again for your constructive criticism, I will think about it next time! :) And I'm just a kid trying this film thing out with absolutely no money to my...

    Anybpdy ever felt this way?

So I'm new to this film-making process, I'm fresh out of high-school, and the only experience I've ever really had is making 1 short. The short film I made was "great" coming from my friends and family, but when I post it to other websites, they say it just looks amateur and extremely lame. It...
