    Area 51 Entertainment for Sale

As someone suggested before, it sounds like it is time to sell your intangibles. Get the money you need for your company, buy a car, get a decent house, and get to work.

What Films Have Changed the World?

That is a misconception. The first found footage movie was actually an Italian film called Cannibal Holocaust. It predates Blair Witch by 19 years. There is also 84C MoPic which is from 1989. I can't think of a movie that has changed the world but I can say one that made me interested in...

    Help Assembling a Full Kit

I would stay away from USB Harddrives it will take forever to move files and retrieve them. Use gigabit storage devices or firewire.

    Help Assembling a Full Kit

Cameras for recording... I'd say check out the Blackmagic Cinema Camera ($2995.00) it can shoot in 2.5k uncompressed data or Apple ProRes HQ and the Sony NEX FS100 ($6000.00) has a 35 mm chip and shoots in 1080p. Both cameras shoot in 24 fps which is considered the proper frame rate for films...

    Zombie Script Wanted.

Thanks Ray, I have looked through that thread in the past. I have ideas for scripts I am just not good at writing them and don't really have the time. I understand what you mean though about things not being great off the rack but that can be changed with revisions and rewrites. Currently my...

archived-videos L. Frank Baum's the Wonderful Wizard of Oz, proof-of-concept

Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, 300, and Sin City were all shot in front of a greenscreen with almost all backgrounds and props computer generated. All three used proof of concept short films. In the case of Sin City, the short film was used as the prologue of the final film. From RtBot.net

    Pre-Production Poster

It was meant to represent blood. However this poster is being reworked and will change based on the advice I have been given here. It has just taken a backseat to my personal life right now. The last two weeks have been absolutely horrible for me.

    Difference between mm lenses

Yes that would be done in After Effects or any other slew of programs out there with a gazillion add ons. A lot of sites recommend After Effects with the Colorista II plugin.
