Im quite happy to watch any short film from any genre, but the problem I find is that so many just dont grab my attention straight away.... I either have to sit through elaborate title sequences that take up 3 minutes of a 7 minute short film.... long drawn out opening dialogue sequences or too...

if it was me.... I would get the 600D, the kit lens is definitely adequate and the articulating LCD screen on the 600d is a god send if you dont have a field monitor

Quick basic workflow question with slow motion footage. Say I shoot a clip at 60fps on my 600D, when i come to editing do i set my timeline at 60fps and then slow it down from there or can i put my 60fps footage in a 25fps timeline and still slow it down?

Hi, I use the 50mm 1.8f on a regular basis for video on a 600d and love it, the image quality is so much sharper than your kit lenses which i also have the same. The 50mm is by far the most used lens i have although i will give a huge recommendation to the Samyang line of lenses!
