The bit that I like is "but unwittingly makes himself the prime suspect." Reminds me of the scene in The Terminator where Kyle Reese is stalking Sarah Connor through the streets of L.A. She's scared of him when actually he's the man who was sent back in time to save her life.

I think a common noob mistake is with too much headroom.

    Who's got a feature film?

What's the name of your feature? Golden Age What's the logline and Synopsis of your feature? It was dark days, the world had never been so brutal and lives had never been thrown away so much. But one day was the worst, one day would change everything. The two greatest enemies the world had...

    Choose Your Own Adventure Movie?

This has been done for quite a while on dvd and laserdisc. They're not popular with a few cult exceptions from early laserdisc days.

Also, spend a bit of cash on the blood so that it looks good. And use thick blood where you have to, as opposed to the normal blood you'll be using. Here's a link for thick blood that I can personally recommend: http://www.alconeco.com/Products/EMS-Gore-Makeup/Blood-Products/Ben-Nye-Thick-Blood

If you're going to make it 30 mins, I personally would extend it to feature length.

Interesting. But the problem with writing time travel is that it involves something as complex as time travel. Does he stop the murder of his parents, and then become the suspect of attempted murder? If he does stop the attack on his parents, him from the future wouldn't have had a reason to...

    My script idea

*spoilers* sounds a lot like American Psycho, even to the part of turning out that he did not kill them, but it was all in his head.

Writers...What is your ideal writing setting?

First draft I'll crack out with a few beers, but in later drafts I'll usually have a few cans of Mother to get me through a long day / night. Noise doesn't worry me, but unless I'm writing as a group, I like to be left alone, at least until a scene is done.

Am I not bossy enough as director?

Maybe it would be a good idea to take over one of the problem roles yourself?

Am I not bossy enough as director?

All you can really do I guess is just ask them nicely. If there's something that you think needs to be redone, redo it. Do this enough times and they're gonna get practice, and also want to do it right the first time so that they don't have to do it over and over. The thing is that you're not...

What directorik said. But keep in mind that the HPX170 is a dedicated P2 camera, and P2 cards are expensive.

    An Idea For A Proposal . . .

Yeah, I understand that you said it was a rough cut, but are you going to work this as your final product, or are these really just test footage and you're going to shoot it all again for your final pitch product? Based solely on the live action footage and not the unfinished CGI, it looks more...

    editing Terrible Sound. Help!!!

I'd also recommend moving this thread to Equipment & Gear, as it doesn't belong in Post-Production. The damage is done, and all you can really do is make your next film better.

    editing Terrible Sound. Help!!!

I should also say that good sound doesn't come cheap. Hire equipment if you can. And don't just hand ball the sound off to whoever isn't currently doing anything on the shoot. Sound takes dedication. I;d choose someone on your team and say "Alright, you're the sound guy, now learn everything you...
