Some very impressive visuals in there. The visuals only came on at the 28 second mark which for a demo reel is far too late. Also at nearly 3 mins 40 seconds, it is long. As I said, some great visuals though. Congrads.

Good advice. The most frequent issue we come across with submissions to our festival is poor audio. Poor audio is an audience killer, much more so than poor visuals.

Shoot a Short local to you. You want to keep costs down. You're not shooting the latest James Bond or other Hollywood epic. And South Korea is not cheap. We have seen great shorts shot on ultra low budgets (think sub $1,000). Your plan will cost you big $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. And...

It's worth noting that some festivals limit the length of Shorts to sub-20 mins, e.g. to enter Cannes (exceptionally tough to place) your Short has to be 15 mins or less.

Sadly this can happen all too frequently. Try to rise above it, be sociable and treat others as you would want to be treated yourself. At the core of this industry is networking - many opportunities can come your way via good contacts. Ditto crew and talent. Makes sense to me. Even if that...

Read some good Hollywood screenplays first. Then decide on whether to write your own screenplay. I'd advise writing a 10-15 page Short first. Get it made. Go onwards from there. An original idea is key. Ditto writing a compelling story in 10-15 pages.

To be honest it doesn't matter how actors see your script. Just work your hardest to write the best script you possibly can. That's the most you can do. Hopefully it will be good and the talent will recognize that. :)
