    shooting in HUGE warehouse/radio studio

I have finally come up with the concept for my short film:) but I have one question which could affect the idea I have. I know it's a bit of a cliché, but i'm looking at doing that lightning-strikes,wall-is-illuminated-showing-writing affect you see in horror films. Thing is I will be filming...

editing transition to new scene effects

    London Bombings

Not much I can add to this thread, but I found something special in the words of an Australian who narrowly escaped death in both the London Bombing and the Bali Bombing. He shakily said something along the lines of "keep travelling and keeping living, and if your time is up, then your time is...

    shooting in HUGE warehouse/radio studio

Same sort of thing in this case except he survived. Can't say the same about some of his fellow captors.... At least you havn't been getting any of those filmed beheadings like you did a while back. Not much you can say about it really. A couple of days ago I had another look in the warehouse...

I need a cheap good HD camcorder

I'm pretty sure fx1 footage can't be transfered to dvd at the moment and if you want to watch it on a tv you have to export it back to the dv tape and play it through the camera. The only supported nle systems are final cut express and iMovie HD apparently so that could be a downside. Don't know...

    shooting in HUGE warehouse/radio studio

Ha I see how it is. I guess i'm being a little hard on poor Douglas. His exclusive story was just aired on tv and despite the soppy music and bad interviewing, I actually feel sorry for him (though he would still make a great extra...)

    shooting in HUGE warehouse/radio studio

Like all capitalist countries we have our dodgy politicians( :( ) but one particular media whore who would make a great cowering 'hobo' inhabiting a lifeless dungeon is Douglas Wood. I don't know if he is a big story in America but basically he is an Australian (but lives in the US) who was...

    Script Idea...High Concept?

It reminds me of that Twilight Zone epesode where the guy sees the goblin thing on the plane wing and no one believes him until they all die. Great idea, good luck with it. I miss the Twilight Zone:(....

What makes it worse is hearing the eerie sound when he looks back into the mirror and sees the murderer looking back at him. Oh so predictable.

    shooting in HUGE warehouse/radio studio

Ahhhh cheesy Australian comedies  , something we are good at, I see the potential. I think I will decide on a story and write a script ready for the sepember holidays when I will start filming, preferably in one day as I will be hiring a decent camera.

    David Lynch goes DV

Darkened Room is definetly a Lynch film.... unless he is trying to pass it off as his own.
