    Is Avid good?

Avid and Final Cut Pro are more industry standards. FCP is my favorite, and it's becoming more popular due to Apple not crashing as much as PCS, and no virus.

What do you prefer?: Youtube vs. Vimeo

Most people will say Vimeo cause it may have a better player or whatever the reason. But if your looking to get your stuff out there, i suggest Youtube because of key words helps with getting more hits. Vimeo is good but the number 1 search engine is google, and google owns Youtube.
