Would audiences accept a movie where all the villains where masks the whole time?

As long as there's a good reason for it, and not just because "I think this would be cool." People don't typically care about the henchmen.

    What software

It looks like just about any software should do the trick? Check your copy of Vegas to make sure it supports the formats would be my advice.

    Exposure and 24p 1/50

The problems he described sounded like it was related to aperture rather than shutter speed. I think you might have misread something?

    Exposure and 24p 1/50

Why do you think it's called a "rule of thumb"? :P

    Exposure and 24p 1/50

The rule of thumb is f/8 and forget it for sunny weather, but anything between f/7 and f/11 should be good enough depending on your other variables as far as your aperture goes.

    4/3 Lens Selection

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angle_of_view Not quite. But I bought the Nikon after getting the E-PL1, so I'm not sure I really want to bother with an adapter for it. Right now I'm mostly planning on keeping the Pen as a backup camera for places that won't let you take in a full blown DSLR or...

    VERY Cheap Tripod

Just do a search through Amazon. Seriously, tripods that meet those requirements are pretty dirt cheap. http://www.amazon.com/Vanguard-MAK-233-Quick-Flip-Anti-Slip/dp/B003G2YZUK/ref=sr_1_7?s=photo&ie=UTF8&qid=1345154039&sr=1-7&keywords=tripod+bubble+level

    4/3 Lens Selection

The biggest thing that irks me is that the angles I could get from the picture were narrower than I was used to. So I had to step back further from the subject than I really might have liked, and in tighter quarters it made framing a good shot difficult if not impossible. For example, suppose...

    4/3 Lens Selection

If there's a way to switch to manual focus on the E-PL1, I certainly don't see it in mine. There is a manual mode, but if you try and adjust the lenses manually the motors take over. On my D5100 there's an actual switch on the lens that lets you toggle between Auto and Manual. I think this...

Help to choose between these very CHEAP cameras

I guess it is. I saw the others were just point & shoots with video capability and assumed the camileo must be one too since I've never heard of it before.

Help to choose between these very CHEAP cameras

For the amount of money you're paying why not just get a dedicated video camera? You're bound to get a better bang for your buck and there's plenty in the $200 range.

Help to choose between these very CHEAP cameras

I have an older model Finepix and it chews through batteries like nothing. I'd say go with whichever one has the best battery life. The sound is going to be terrible though, so if one of them has a mic jack, get that.

My new computer has trouble reading my footage.

The only thing I can think of is trying to have a Windows machine read something formatted for OSX. The two file systems don't really play well together and could cause issues. But if the OP doesn't tell us what he's using it's hard to know.
