    Assuming I just skipped the mixer and attached an Audio technica AT875R mike to the PMD660 with your basic XLR cable would the sound be shitty or just about ok?

    Assuming I had a marantz PMD660, do I still have to go through a mixer and then into the recorder if I only have two boom mikes? What's the benefit of doing so if yes?

    Hey so I'm about to do a full fledged film. Feeding your actors is a big part of filming but I'm having trouble estimating a good price for catering. Does anyone know how much catering usually costs? Do Catering companies have "package" deals for multiple days?

    Why do you think the festivals weren't into this?

    Personally story-line wise it's a typical. Everything is shot very well and sound is nice. The problem would be the constant change of attention from the main storyline to the flashbacks. There's just too much. Also I think that you used too much swearing. Like the F word is used WAY too much...

    but doesn't the Hvx only shoot to P2 cards for HD. It doesn't shoot HD on to HDV right? Is it true that P2 cards are just as good as regular SD cards?
