Fisher Price Pxl 2000 vintage camcorder for sale.

I really like the effect you get from that camera. Even more experimental than super 8. I'd get one but I don't think I could really spend £200 right now.

    archived-videos "Tartarus" Austrian Independent Flick

For animation it's allright to re-dub in other languages, it's less obvious. But I think live action film should be shown in it's intended language with subs. Whats wrong with reading.

Fisher price as in the company that makes toys? Have you got any examples of video recorded with this?

    Be Aware!!

http://www.alcs.co.uk/ I saw this site which for a small membership cost provides you with life-time cover for your work. I'm not sure how good they are, but it might be something worth thinking about to protect yourself. I'm pretty sure they are legit.

    Film Scores

I really like your music. You've made some good tracks there. I especially liked your 'Devil Inside' track, it reminded me of Metallica and Apocalyptica (probably because they cover Metallica. Do you play instruments or is it all digital? Some particularly great cello pieces there, I love...

    archived-videos The Killing Strain teaser

It had a completely different atmosphere. It felt completely americanised. 28 days later had a real indie feel to it, 28 weeks later was just a typical hollywood action film.

    International Horror-Thriller available for Distribution

I think you've done yourself no favours with the advertising desing. It looks very much like the SAW movie posters. This may be an entirely different movie, but when people see the posters they're going to compare it to SAW. Possibly even think you're trying to rip it off.

    archived-videos The Killing Strain teaser

You could at least compare it to 28 days later. Weeks later should be discounted because it was so bad. It didn't have Danny Boyle as director. Anyway good luck with the film, great to see you're getting some press.

    Did you ever notice...

Maybe because a lot of people are working on very low budgets and have limmited resources. the camera is the bare minimum that you need. A lot of people probably don't use different lenses, if they've got a basic camera then they probably can't use different lenses.

    District 9

Shaky cam is definately over used: Dairy of the dead, Rec, Cloverfield, Quarrantine (I know just a cheap remake of Rec), just a few recent examples that come to mind. I notice that non-documentry style films are throwing in a few shaky shots to make it seem more 'raw'. I agree it's very bad...

making a film while on psychedelics??

Awesome, hope you get something good out of it. One of my projects I'm writing is based entirely on a dream. It was such a perfectly formed story I had to write it down.

making a film while on psychedelics??

If people can't be creative without getting high, then I don't think they're pursuing the right career. People with true creative tallent should be able to come up with ideas on their own. Also don't people have dreams anymore, they're full of crazy ideas to use and you don't need to take any...

making a film while on psychedelics??

Quentin Tarantino is just generally an eccentric person, you just have to see interviews of him to know that. A lot of what's good about Tarantino's films is how he can make the boring become interesting. A prime example is in Pulp Fiction where the two hitmen vincent and Joules hold off killing...

I'm surprised to hear people here like it as I've heard nothing but bad things about it.

making a film while on psychedelics??

As I understand it things made under the influence of drugs seem really good at the time. However when you look at it when your not high, you soon realise it's actually really bad. Drugs aiding creativity is a myth. As people have allready said filmmaking is complicated and requires a lot of...

    cinematography HOW to do THIS?

I wasn't sugesting for a moment that you try to immitate it completely. It shows you how to go from a zoomed out image to a close up image. I'm pretty sure you can use that technique on a map. Just ignore or the fancy wooshing stuff.

    getting hit with a shovel..

For good slow-mo you need to be prepared for it during filmimg. You can't just slow it down in post, it will look cheap. No you need to film at a high frame rate for it to be effective.

    RED ONE... HD LOOK?

The Red Ene is the most impressive camera I've ever seen. I'm might be going to a university that owns some Red One cameras. I can't wait to try one out. I don't think HD is a bad thing, it seems to be getting people to step up visuals. Of course a film isn't any better just because you use a...
