    Big leap for film?

Wow! If this would evolve into moving images you would no longer need to frame shots. Just point and shoot. With such a high resolution you can do all the framing later in post, as well as zooming, panning, etc within the frame!

This is interesting... Demosthenes X, I think a few websites already exist where you can 'rent' movies (download them for a fee and be allowed to view them for a period of time, after which they expire).

archived-videos IMAGINE, our new short film

Nice job, macmangan! That was a very enjoyable short film. What I think could have been better: Cinematography was not very cosistent and I had the impression different parts of the film were filmed by different people with pretty different styles. I, like Zensteve was not too keen on the...

What would you build and why?

Alienware TV Ad Since spatula mentioned Alienware, they do make some badass PCs for video editing (I'd still get a G5 instead with 30 inch Cinema Display) On an unrelated matter, I was suprised to see an Alienware commercial >> http://www.alienware.com/sub_pages/commercial.aspx

    which computer/camera???in need of help!

I've started with Premiere 5.1 back in the day. When Final Cut Pro 1 came out I tried it and have used it ever since (now version 4.5 HD). I like it more then Avid Xpress and Premiere, plus it looks cooler than any of them (I always hated that windows cray color, or the cheezy Windows XP...

See Russian Ark Does the whole thing take place in that room? As Jason said, see Russian Ark. It's very impressive, although not necessarily a work of art.

    Nudity?

I strongly agree with Ridley Scott here (on why he does not have sex scenes in his movies) > "Sex is boring unless you're doing it." If it makes the movie better though, it's all good. scott spears also brough up a good point: actors that are willing to do nude scenes are usually not very good...
