Very good. I liked it, agree about the softer lighting but I think any crits will just come from personal taste. Did the musos like it?

[Dec 11] What are you working on this week?

Day job (I think we can take that as given at this point) & onto the 4th draft of a short sci fi film. Also working on treatments for two features and really want to start a treatment for a movie of a toy brand from the 80's. Don;t wanna say which in case anyone gets ideas ;) Wondering about...

movies What's the last film you watched? And rate it!

No, I gave it 8 stars. I gave 2001: a space odyssey 3 billion stars but the BBC 6 music dates it, so it goes down to 9.

movies What's the last film you watched? And rate it!

Thor Ragnarok: 1 million stars out of 10. Reduced to 8 because of the Norway scenes being badly comped.

[Nov 27] What are you working on this week?

Working on VFX for a friends short film. Some kinda invisible effects like flilcker on a tv, all the way to a babarian in the fire pits of hell. Fun. Oh, and debating flat Earthers. Which is fun. https://giphy.com/gifs/l2RnkK6gCYOXvO2ac/html5 Hopefully getting some writing done this...

[Nov 20] What are you working on this week?

Having modelled the flat version just to see (1:1 scale i might add) I sort of see why the would say what they say. But only in a 'oh I get it now' way. Still nonsense though.

[Nov 20] What are you working on this week?

I've mainly been replicating nasa photos in 3d and fixing fisheye gopro footage from weather balloons to show how certain lenses affect how we depict the curvature of the earth. All to contradict flat earth theorists. They are having non of it though. And some proper vfx stuff. Sparking...

    The DC Cinematic Universe

Enjoyed man of steel till the boring 3rd act punch up. I don't mind a darker take on Superman. Wonder Women was very good. Till the boring 3rd act punch up. Batman V Superman was just total trash. Justice league will wait. I'm not paying to see it. Suicide Squad was worse then BVS.

$250 million for the rights to LOTR

I met this news with scepticism. Knowing me, I'll watch it though. Maybe enough time has passed between the films and this. I don't know.

Supernova. Terrible. But reading the history of it has made me appreciate it.

[Nov 6] What are you working on this week?

Highlight video for an event my wife Jen put on called 'Moondance Menagerie', Interview with artist David Swithenbank, screenplay for a short (no-one hired me to do that) and some VFX I'm doing for a short film thats got Brian Blessed in it! Alas, I will not be VFXing the man himself.

[Oct 30] What are you working on this week?

Sending a final demand letter to a client. Sad, sad day. Never had to do it before. :( This also means that I'm going to be 'contracting' for every gig now. I mean, I guess I should've been doing this before, but you know, I live in that 'everybody deep down is good' land. Well, that's that...
