So i was at Sammys Camera the other day and i'm looking at a few manfrotto/bogen tripods and the guy tells me a lot of people have been buying this Draco fluid head tripod....we put them side by side and they were very comparable. I mean the draco seemed like a it was of a really good quality...

I might put closer to 600 on sound if you want anything decent. Booms cost nearly 200 alone add in a decent mic for 300 plus a shockmount and a softie. Plus depending on what you're recording on...you'll need a recorder. My zoom h4n was 300 with a 16mb sd card...and some other nice toys that...
