I missed that, sorry. In that case, he could use a mirror if it's really tight. If people are moving around in the shot he's going to have focus problems using a cheap SD monitor. I'm a T2i owner myself and there are just some things that camera can't do. ;)

I do that often. you can scale down a 1080p about 30% and do slow tracking shots or slow tilts and render out to 720p and it looks great.

I just read that from another source. I read it as 24P causes the problem, but 23.97 was not effected. Now I have homework! Haha.

That's a good question and I think it depends on the camera. If it's an option to shoot 4:3, it usually reverts to SD. At least by my experience.

Try to think outside the box on this one. ;)

I don't know, Brian, but you'd have to think it's twice 2K (1080p), maybe more with AVCHD and 4 cards. Good question.

True, but what are you going to use a monitor for? A quick reference for critical focus is what most will say, I believe. framing is doable only with a sillourtte of the image like in bright sunlight. Going cheap doesn't equate to solving the problem. Since a T2i only outputs in SD while...

Good point about SD because a T2i will only output SD while recording. I went through this myself at on time and it ended up being a waste of time and money for that camera. Just my experience. You'd find much more bang for your buck with a Z-finder.

i read about this earlier. It looks a bit premature considering the market. Interesting though. One concern I would have is massive file sizes that will likely be down-resed anyway. As has been mentioned, a large sensor 4K will sell like hotcakes.
