I would look at some people in your everyday life and base some off them. Maybe add a few characteristics to make them go with your story. I know a backstory usually helps with understanding a character better, but like anything, there are some cases where it isn't necessary.

That's their stupidity for going to a bunk label that doesn't take care of their artists. Also that has nothing to do with using an artists music in film.

I thought it was pretty good. Did you intend for some shots to have static images flashing? Also some of the footage seemed to shake, not from you holding the camera, but the actual footage would shake a little. Of course the sound could have been a littler better, but you already knew that...

No, you are correct. We also have a TV-MA on some television shows. Also NC-17 which is no child under 17 I believe.

I agree with chimp. The trailer should grab the viewer and have them wanting more. It does seem like you guys put a lot of effort into this though. Costume design looked nice!

I suppose the random imagery was to go with the music? Personally I like a bit of a storyline to tie in with the music, but I did find the shots to be fun and they always caught my attention. Syncing the images up with the music was great.

I thought that was a pretty good first attempt. I think adding a light connecting you to the ufo would help give the feel of you being pulled in. How are you liking Blender? I'm thinking of getting it myself.

Footage is a little shakey, I had problems with that as well. I thought the audio syncing was pretty spot on. A few spots were a little out of sync. I liked the goofiness of the video, although I wasn't really sure what the whole song was about.

Hahaha this was awesome! Looked like you all had a great time filming. I thought the shots and edits were spot on, and there was comic relief with the action. At first I thought the red scarfs were just for comedy until i realized this was just for fun. Good choreography.
