    Greenscreen Bluescreen

    1) Yes. It works with anytype of footage. Progressive is always better than interlaced of course but this is a matter of format not software. 2) I believe so 3) Nope, nor do I own the software. It's REALLY expensive but worth the price if you have the budget and many greenscreen shots to do.

What is the best way (Ch.Keying)

The quality you get, assuming a perfect setup, will depend on the software you use. Generally speaking After Effects, Combustion, Chromanator etc will provide better results than you can get with you NLE alone. They have much more complex algorithms. What you would want to do is export the...

    My first big screen feature

If you want to do compositing - and lots of it - a camera which records 4:2:2 data is imperative. It could possibly be done on a lower codec but the results will take much longer and look worse.

...If anything can go wrong, it will....

Bwahahaha! Sorry, that wasn't at you spinner :) I know exactly what you mean... it seems to be a common occurance :(

    editing Blue Screen

Pretty much getting a good chroma-key from DV footage is quite hard. Even lighting is imperative - even more so than on higher formats due to the low chroma sampling of the DV format. Even high end software can't always pull a good key. With DV more than anything else its about the setup.

    Hey! It's Spinner's B-Day!

lol! I know, but "happy birthday girl" just doesn't sound right for some reason =)! One of those odd phrases I guess!

    Chroma Keying Objects

I don't know what versions of After Effects include the motion tracker but the pro version certainly does. I'd look through your AE options.

Recommenda cheap camera to do comedy shorts mostly for internet distribution?

Yep, quite right Lux though DV25, DVCPRO and DVCAM all have the same visual quality. Now, DVCPRO50 is a different story as that has twice as much color resolution!

Question on lenses for Mini DV Cameras

Oh definitely :). Wasn't criticizing the camera! The DVX info was in response to spinners question about the DVX + Wide angle. I have a GS70 (first three chip consumer cam by Panasonic) and it's surprisingly good for its price.

Question on lenses for Mini DV Cameras

I bet you would with the GS120 :). Buying a wide angle lens for the DVX isn't really necessary since the built in wide angle is as wide as, if not greater than, most other DV cameras with a wide angle adapter. Still, if you need it (which does happen) go for the Century Optics glass. Nice...

    a new 3CCD camera

Actually, cameras like the XL2 capture a full 16:9 image and then anamorphically squeeze it into the DV frame. When you open up this footage in a normal timeline it looks "squished"; which of course can be fixed by moving to a 16:9 timeline :). Very few SD cameras have this feature though.
