archived-videos Where Are We Going - Short Film

It's very good overall, but some things need more work. There are some issues with audio editing: you can hear "the gaps" between lines of dialogue. Also the score doesn't fit the mood in some of the scenes. Needs more grading: some of the shots are very unimpressive for RED footage. Also I'm...

The best choice for this newbie project

Out of the 3 cameras the t5i has the best bang for the buck IMHO. The GH-3 is a better camera, but noticeably more expensive. I'd get the t5i and use the rest of the money on lenses and audio gear.

Because it looks good? To differentiate it from action, which is not centered? Aliens?

format A few questions about story logic, format issues and queries in Screenplays

    2. There are a different levels/ types of sci-fi. Hard sci-fi tries to be scientifically accurate, while soft sci-fi doesn't. Most stories with superpowers in them are soft sci-fi. 3. You can reference other people's work in the dialogue. Having a copyrighted image in the film is a different...

Than the rules would have to be re-explained in the first post of every thread. Also the moderator would have to go trough multiple threads to find the film suggestions. I don't see it as such a big problem since the new posts go to the end of the thread, so that's where you'll find the...
