Have you already tried to conversion? If so what wasn't looking so good? Can you describe what you're seeing? 30p to 25p (or 24p) is a bit more difficult to convert than 60i. I'm not entirely sure what the best way to do that would be.

Yeah we have pretty loose gun laws around here. Especially in the state of Montana. You can purchase an AR-15 (and similar) without a background check if I remember correctly. I'll have to go dig up the gun laws again.

The biggest thing I can think of for 'day for night' is diffusion. Harsh light is a dead giveaway.
