I believe shakycam can be used well sometimes. It has a purpose, just like steadicam. But I agree with Cracker Funk, that usually the shakycam is overdone a lot. But it can create a nice effect SOMETIMES.

Yes, I agree. We should all get back into going to the video store! It would be great to see DVDs pick up again. I don't know, maybe I'm blinded by my hope. But I think I'm going to send out emails to everyone I know to get people to GO TO THE VIDEO STORE!

I do the same thing. I think I'm stubbornly fighting using Netflix, as long as it lasts, mainly because I like to go into the video store, talk to the girls who work there (all of whom I know), and look at all the movies, physically there on display. Nothing beats that for me. I feel sympathetic...
