I am just buying the Canon Rebel T2i with the lens. I will worry more about good lens later, and my father has a old picture camera that you have to use film with that has lens.

On my end I didn't see any jump or lag. I just saw the text slide over.

The lag problem is simple, just upload to YouTube and you shouldn't have any lag problems. My computer is old and is Windows 7 32bit with 3GB of RAM and when I watch in Windows Media Player, QuickTime, etc. it lags. But when I upload to YouTube and watch it, it plays smoothly. So try that, then...

The special effects were great for a newbie, except the bullets flying across the screen, don't do that. I also like the way the grenade explosions worked, just add some more usual colors for the explosion, because the white only looks kind of weird.
