    Injecting Comedy into Non-Comedic Topics

Topics aren't funny. Perspectives on them can be, but there is no inherently "funny" subject matter. Most humor lies in behavioral patterns and warped points of view, so you needn't even make fun of the topic.

    archived-videos Good Morning Galaxy - Episode 1 (2017)

This clearly takes place in the future. Language is an ever-evolving thing. And it isn't "wrong." Anyway, this is a really good and well-made show. Kudos

do you have a timeframe? I've been emotionally invested in this for it seems like three years or something. At least since I read the first(ish) draft of the script

[Sep 25] What are you working on this week?

Finally finished this script. Gonna review one more time, then hunker down and start making the film. In the meantime, working on some comedic gaming videos for youtube to practice character-acting, improv, and hopefully gain some sort of following

What would be similar in tone to this?

Well, it's not even a joke about race, it's a joke about a dude embarrassing himself. I ended up finding something better to write though.

    It 2017

No. Nightmare on Elm Street took place in their nightmares. Also the whole "they need to fear me" thing wasn't added until much later. Also they don't see the clown when they are in fear, the clown preys on their individual fears. He is the catalyst.

What would be similar in tone to this?

There's also a less important reason; I want to try to get this one into film festivals and I'm not sure if most festivals have policies against profanity (especially the most vile word ever) I looked into it and at least SOME do. So it's also sort of a producer decision for me

What would be similar in tone to this?

It's not that degree of importance to the story. Just a small moment Well now I have more incentive to avoid it, since a very similar joke was done in Malibu's Most Wanted It stars Jamie Kennedy

What would be similar in tone to this?

No, I want something else entirely that could get a similar reaction to a white guy saying nigga. The whole point is the grounded character telling him "you absolutely cannot show this footage to the world."

What would be similar in tone to this?

oh, wow. Never seen that movie, but now I for sure can't do that. (for the record, my version would've been funnier than that, lol) I think I'll scour the world of cringe videos for inspiration
