1200 is more pixels but the ratio would not be compatible with most media. Keep it simple and go 1080.

Why get a 1200p monitor when true HD is 1080p? Your ration will also be off.

Most monitors support HDMI, but you can check before you buy. Yes, you want 1920x1080, that is full HD.

The graphics card powers your monitor and the quality of the video in an editing software. If you have a 500mb card it wouldn't render Full HD properly. It might even crash the software.

Which output do you want to render? Full HD or 4k?

You want a PC with enough graphics to render the video, enough CPU to process it and enough RAM to transfer the speed. So get a modern i7 system.

Or you can go crazy like me and get a 1080.

What about graphics card for rendering? Integrated is not going to cut it. Especially 4k.
