Would somebody mind looking over this draft?

Watch the overuse of the Wrylies - you direct the actors too much, and some of direction you give is pretty much a given. Also, try and watch your word choices - i.e. accoutrements. I've only heard this used when speaking about military stuff and maybe I am wrong but it just doesn't fit in...

    "LAST WORDS" - Advice?

Among the notes I PM'ed, if I am not mistaken, I think that the gifts of clothes were to signify his homosexuality? If so, I think that you should rewrite this and, as Fantasy says, provide more background to give the (reader) audience a better insight into what his preference is.

Sheol - Short film (narrative advice please)

Couple of quick thinkgs - Fantasy is right, it is hard to read like that. Some other things, some it read like you were writing prose instead of a screenplay and projecting an image. Also, be consistent with the use of Mister Devlin, Warden Devlin or Devling - it may sound like a nag, but it...

Trying to apply gang psychology to my script.

Police officers, sargeants or not, really only know about the "enforcement" of the law, not actual how the law works. If they did, they would be lawyers

Trying to apply gang psychology to my script.

I was always under the impression that most gangs don't alow anyone to get out? I mean, yeah there are a few here and there that make it out and become community activists but those are pretty few and far between. Also, are you using the dirty cop/gang member angle that is also part of "The...

Is it true that the market does not like controversial films?

Ok, I am not understanding what you are asking. Are you asking about what independent film was controversial AND a box office hit? If so, you have to define what you are talking about as a box office hit. Money in the area of Titanic? Or money in the area of Blair Witch? I would say that...
