The Hunger Games - 7.5/10 - entertaining film. Kinda wish I wouldve seen it on the big screen. Will probably do so for the remaining ones

I agree with Zensteve. The original concept sounds like one film while your other idea sounds like a completely different story. While I think you might be able to pull off the meshing the two that will be challenging for any director, let alone a newbie

Blue Valentine, while not one of my favorites, is a phenomenal film. As for going back on topic - I think mine would be 12 Angry Men (even though the Russian remake 12 was better). I like Fonda and I think that it is a timeless film. Or Good Will Hunting - I think that it is a smartly written...

Actually, depending on where you are a judge can overturn a jury verdict - at least in some states in the U.S.. Additionally, I don't think that it is plausible that he will be able to cut a deal with the judicial system after committing an act of terrorism, especially in a post-9-11 world...

We have differing views on the film. While it was an average fight film, the story was formulaic, too predictable and the acting, minus Nolte, was not great. Sure, Hardy did a good job, but considering that he is an MMA fighter, it wasn't too much of a stretch for him to play a brooding guy...
