On one hand good for them for being entrepreneurs. At the end of their KS page they mention they are going to be building molds (although upon re-reading not sure what the molds are as they seem to be just machine cutting the PVC. I would call that a jig perhaps. As for real molds, I don't see... -

Well that is not very smart. Yes your work is copyrighted when you write it but it is NOT a registered copyright. If it is not registered you might be able to get a cease and desist on the copyright infringe but you will not get any monetary relief or damages. For the cost of the copyright. No...- Cryogenic

I use WGA for Treatments but US Copyright for the finished Scripts. As your linked article shows the ultimate protection (and the one in which you can get monetary compensation) is the Copyright.- Cryogenic

You may find some stuff in public domain, just make sure to check. As for current copyrights, since 1976 the law was modifed to be 75 years or life of the author + 50 years. What Comic License? I bet they still have to pay a fee. It is copyrighted material. I have also heard somewhere a while back that Wierd Al has not been able to parody certain songs because the author would not allow. (and from wikipedia)- Cryogenic

Are you talking about the preview (and it is showing black lines on top and bottom?) (Not sure if same in mac as pc but on pc...) go to Edit--> Preferences--> Preview and for the TV mode use the drop down box to set to 16:9- Cryogenic
