    I use WGA for Treatments but US Copyright for the finished Scripts. As your linked article shows the ultimate protection (and the one in which you can get monetary compensation) is the Copyright.

    Are you talking about the preview (and it is showing black lines on top and bottom?) (Not sure if same in mac as pc but on pc...) go to Edit--> Preferences--> Preview and for the TV mode use the drop down box to set to 16:9
