It really depends on your writing skills and techniques. One wouldn't necessarily need a script doctor. I'd assume the percentage of indie filmmakers who hire script doctors is fairly low.

If you think people don't have anything to do but watch TV and movies then you need to get out more... This post makes me shake my head. I hope you get out and enjoy life some.

Generally the company you go through such as Discmakers has the DVD cover or Blu-Ray cover design template you download and use in Photoshop or a program similar. They basically walk you through the entire process by having the directions right on there.
