It looked well done and it was a good story to be told. To there were some things that put me off a little. Biggest one is that a little color correcting in some scenes could have done wonders. Some are fine without. This is just a small one but in the car right before he starts talking you hear...

You could have some kind of shot were you see a seen in the background and the clapper stands there very unenthusiastic doing his job. And it is like the 100th take he is very bored and just stands still instead of going away. The director starts screaming about how he should get out of the way...

Well read around the forum there are bunch of threads asking just this very question. To get you started on your quest I would recommend the Canon t2i paired with an externel audio recorder. Something like the Zoom h4n or H2 for less options but better price! But look around that is the real tip!
