What separates horror films is imagination, not budget. All the evidence you need for that is in the American remakes of foreign horror films that cost about 50 times as much and are nowhere near as good.

I kind of really liked it. To me the biggest problem was the music, it was too 'bollywood soap opera' and not enough 'monster coming out of someone's face'.

I always assumed the people who started the campaign pledged themselves a couple of big amounts of money under different names to get it moving.

That's the studio at University though, but I do spend most of my time there. At home I just put my laptop next to the TV and the window and pretend. I try to pretend I have good speakers too. :(

Opera is great, I love opera. Which opera? The only problem is what happens if some of your audience speaks Italian, the film won't make as much sense. Plus, if you're taking pieces from the opera and inserting them in whichever order to suit the atmosphere and narrative, it's going to make...
