Let's just say I've never been more excited to see a movie in my life. Ever. I saw The Dark Knight four times in theaters and God-knows how many times on DVD. I plan on watching this bad boy in IMAX at least twice. I've saved up for a while :cool:

Oh hey I'm an aspiring filmmaker. Challenge accepted. Of course to go the Nolan route I'd have to make a low-budget mind-bending crime caper and then the best psychological thriller of all time first. Oh and a low-key crime mystery thriller.

I watched it. And wow. I'm torn, in so many ways this was incredibly superior to the 2002 version, but in other ways inferior. The action of this one was terrible, in my opinion. Webb's way of portraying fights is awful, shaky and dizzying. Raimi's, while stylized, was rhythmic and well-shot...

Speak for yourself ;) The sequels are going to fail because, well, you really think the "quality" is gonna be going up with the sequel? Or the threequel, or the fourth sequel? Those are all confirmed projects. People will get tired of it no doubt. This is a prime example of studios overhyping...

Avatar is a terrible film. I still am furious that it won Cinematography over THE HURT LOCKER. I mean, come on. Apparently ugly 60% CGI-assisted digital shooting in a cool air-conditioned studio is more deserving than beautifully shot raw film, shot by a heat-stroke-affected crew in the middle...
