    RIP Steve Jobs

I didn't own a single one of his products, but that doesn't mean I can't be aware of the profound and largely positive impact he left on this world (from what I can tell, anyway). I only have to look across the landscape of my Facebook, Twitter, G+ and the like to know what he meant to people...

Music I made in 75 still has a following... shocked!

That's ridiculously awesome, man. I've got a play that people still want to produce after almost ten years, but your music is a whole other story. I'd be very proud indeed.

Hi - from John Marrone of Bloody Disgusting and Zombies Unlimited

Welcome! I love BD, and I've always wanted to contribute something to that particular neck of the universe. I've just never gotten around to it.

I was thinking the exact same thing.

    What's next? Big plans?

I can't say I've got anything huge going. I'm just hoping to pick up another acting gig, I'm working at the third draft of the second novel, and I'm just trying to shop around the usual short stories, reviews, scripts, poems and the like. My work at www.unlikelystories.org also keeps me pretty busy.

Thoughts on how my villains are portrayed?

You could have them all own the same cell phone, or have them wearing one of those "I just donated blood" stickers. Something like that.

Dissecting movies - No Country for Old Men

It's one of my favorite films of the decades. Beautiful acting, cinematography and pacing. I'm always seriously impressed at how closely it follows the book. I saw it with friends, and most of them didn't like it. The ending bothered them, and I thought that was a shame, because it meant they...

I'd love to have a filmmaking partner.

    comic book readers?

I used to read voraciously, but I don't read a whole lot anymore. I keep up with stuff though, and I try to read a good graphic novel whenever possible. I'm also mildly obsessed with Batman.

What do you do for costumes?

Thrift stores tend to solve a lot of woes. In general I've always been really impressed when working with people who have costume design degrees, and actually have some semblance or creativity and ingenuity. They can be amazing on the cheap.

    i suck at storyboarding..

Those are some really, really cool examples. Storyboarding is something I would hope to avoid with my own film scripts though. I just think I'd be be terrible at it, but then again I suppose I'd want to try it first.

    tough decision

I don't think it was a stupid decision at all. You strike me as a pretty smart cat, and it sounds to me like you weighed the particulars, and made the decision you were most comfortable with. It might work out, and it might not. Point is you're being stupid. You're just being honest with yourself.

    Your opinion on begining

I thought it was pretty darn good, myself.

    First short script-opinions

All of this stuff is entirely too intimidating to me. At this point I'm still just a writer and actor. That's fine for now, but I'd like to pick up some more skills, and a post like this just reminds me of how far behind I am. That's not completely discouraging though.

I'm this close to get into a fight with my boyfriend because of this video.

The above is easily my favorite, too. I haven't watched that movie in a few years though. I need to watch it again. It's one of those movies I caught on TV entirely too many times.

    Writer's block cure...

I just work at editing something, or writing something like a review, whenever I'm having trouble with a big story, like a screenplay or novel. That usually at least keeps my creativity active, until I can come back to that story. Good read.

    Google+ Invites

I've been using it for a little while (Gabriel Ricard), but I've yet to really encounter any networking or opportunities to meet new people that I don't already get on Facebook. That may or may not change over time.

plot How do you fill plot holes?

One of my scripts came together, because I had a last scene in my head, but I still had to go back and write up to that point. I can get ideas that start in the middle, the end, but I always have to start from the beginning and work my way to that original idea. And Cracker Funk stole my...
