Welcome to our corner of the universe. I've learned on these boards and through experience, film can be made on anything: 16 mm, 8mm, VHS CamCorder, Iphones, Consumer Camcorder (I use a Canon 900), all the way up to cameras that have two letters and a number designation-not to mention DSLR...

And I wonder why sometimes my film shorts have one person in them :D This is something I will probably need to look at as well-releases-if my docu ever gets off the ground, interviews would be a part of it. It seems like such a small thing optically-a release form-but it can have such VAST...

I think it's in our nature as directors to see the "little things" that most people don't think about or recognize because they aren't looking for it. :) I think too it's because we are constantly going over the footage, literally frame by frame sometimes, and we become so familiar with it, yet...

For myself, I am waiting for my friend to compose (from scratch) music for me film short. She's doing it for free, so I don't push her hard on it-but I know she has a background in music and has composed other music, so I know I'll get a good product. What I did is I shot my video only footage...

Unless you're referring to the extra mirror reflection (the mirror of the mirror) which is minor, I watched it full screen, and I couldn't see anything out of the ordinary (mind you I can't always see details) If someone points it out then I might see it, but otherwise I don't see an issue.

"Rotoscoping" is used in alot in animation-it's having an actor "act" out a scene, and they drawing over top of that actor frame by frame-have you seen Waking Life? That's a (surreal) version of rotoscoping. Keying out colours I believe involves, well if you used a green screen for example...

I have to wonder, we've done modern Frankenstein, Mummy, Somewhat Werewolf, Vampire, Zombie-what about Creature from Black Lagoon! Where's the creature love?? (Creature from black lagoon is my fav Classic movie monster ;) ) I find it interesting the number of views and responses this subject...
