series What movie would make a good TV series...

The Hurt Locker I think a bomb disposal unit offers a tremendous potential for drama and tragedy, and there's always room for dark humor.

budget How much to do these?

You can either: 1. Film a table read - literally actors sitting around a table reading a script. or 2. Film a staged reading - actors hold the script, have stools or similar from which each stands up when they are actually reading, and "act" with their voices. or 3. Do what I described last...

Good movie - I forgot about that one. BlackBerry - streaming on Hulu I think. Definitely low budget by Hollywood standards ($5 mil or so I think) but well done and worth watching.

I can't believe I'm actually commenting but... Go through what you've written and turn a (small) sub-set of it into a 3-4 page short screenplay with a beginning, middle, and end. 2 or 3 characters, one location, and all of the action taking place in continuous time (no jumps to 3 days later...

movies What's the last film you watched? And rate it!

I can see why you'd think that @sfoster :) I DON'T like the poster, but that's hardly the first time I've disliked a poster and liked a movie.

movies What's the last film you watched? And rate it!

I've been interested in seeing Lee since I first heard of it several years ago. It's a biographical drama (not a documentary) about fashion model turned fashion photographer turned World War 2 photographer Lee Miller. I found it mesmerizing and definitely recommend it. Kate Winslet stars as...

NO ONE - literally no one - is "entitled" to respect. Tolerance? Yes. Respect? No. You only hurt yourself by delaying - it has literally no impact on the rest of us.

He had a small but memorable (to me) role in The Big Short, which I liked a lot, and I also saw him in The Luckiest Girl Alive, which is quite dark but I liked that as well.

favorite Favorite TV to Movie, Movie to TV Adaptations?

For the new Rockford Files? I'm a huge Jon Hamm fan but nah.... Need someone more worn and weary-looking, I think. Older? Billy Bob Thornton Younger? Adam Driver could work. I'm also a big fan of Isiah Whitlock Jr and think he'd be good too.

favorite Favorite TV to Movie, Movie to TV Adaptations?

I loved the Rockford Files because it was exactly what was described - my dad and I watched it together :) But here's my complaint, which is hardly news: I'm sure there's someone out there with a good script and a similar premise, either because they came up with the same idea or also watched...

The Fall Guy was cute enough - neither great nor terrible, both the series and the movie. Nothing to get excited about.
