Well, on several screenwriting guides/forums I've read, VOs seem to be panned. Although the circumstances may be different, I just didn't want what I write to be overlooked by someone glancing at it because there are a lot of VO lines.

Yeah, I know, but I wasn't sure what would apply in this case, as the scenes he "speaks" in are POV locked, so while he's "there", he's still not seen on-screen in those scenes. Sorry, I forgot that detail.

So, I'm working on a project, and in it, there's a stretch where the main character is turned to stone. He's still alive, still thinking, still seeing the action, but can't speak. He is, however, making commentary on the situation, interjecting, non-vocally, into the conversation going on...

Where is the camera to be located? Is the camera going to be sitting outside of the bus looking in at the driver? Or is the camera in the bus? The interior of a vehicle counts as INT. unless the action of the scene takes place outside the vehicle. Say, a shot of two people talking in a car is...

Well, the issue is that the story is part of an overarching story that starts in the 70's and then fast forwards to today, where I'd say 90% of the story takes place. I'd rather do what I can in the first couple shorts than have to come up with something futuristic in the majority of the episodes.
