    Creating long takes?

Not sure why you think only "professionals" are capable of doing long takes. As already said, it's less about the equipment, and more about the skill of the people involved. A lot of planning and rehearsal needed. Since you're talking about fight scenes, I've done a few long take sequences...

The problem with over analyzing movies

You know... there are a lot of movied that many film heads consider classics and masterpieces that I just don't care about or care to even watch. Citizen Kane Clockwork Orange There Will Be Blood just to name a few. I then realized that it's all subjective and I stopped caring about reviews...

watch Looking for G rated shorts or features

I usually lean towards Disney or Pixar films. It's PG, but if you're only showing one then I recommend Inside Out. Doesn't really have anything to do with foster kid problem, but it does deal with what kids go through when moving to a new city.

Well that's unfortunate. You literally stopped right before the heart of the short. I hope you actually take a chance to watch it again or at least the second half of it.

    Fight Scene Question

Thank you for bringing up pro wrestling. It usual gets a bad rep amongst the stunt community, but having the background really helps when it comes to fight scenes.I'm just happy that it has been getting more recognition in hollywood. Especially when Black Widows moveset is wrestling based. And...

What's the best free video editing program? One that can export the video.

I have one friend that used to use After Effects as his primary editor. But that's beside the point. In terms of best, it's whatever can accomplish your needs.

Which is better Audacity or HitFilm? - Sound editing

I still use Audacity for music edits just because of comfort level. For sake of filming, I use Premiere for audio.

Voiceover - Is it ever a good idea?

It was already mentioned but "Arrested Development" had hilarious use of VO. It ended up being its own character to an extent. And their recut of their 4th season ended up adding dialogue to poke fun of the original cut. Obviously that's what you're not going for but it works if you're going...

    Backwards talking review?

As suggested, I think having a separate audio recorder recording the audio is the best way. It doesn't even have to be clean as your main recorder should be doing that. Your main concern is the dialogue itself and not the picture. As yes, recording the dialogue in advance, reversing it, and then...

    Scenes that require a Kiss

This reminds me of a time where I was working on a series and an intimate scene was written in. It was going to be implied but not actually shown. It got to a point where the director joked that it was for the views. The actress got upset and dropped out mid series. The story was being written...

    watch Stairwell Fight Scene

Well... it's certainly a start. Eye contact is key when it comes to fight scenes. You need to have the hits cross the camera more. Meaning they need to extend their strikes past the persons face. Aim the punches more towards the side of the face /above the shoulders. It'll cross camera better...

No more youtube revenue for us

There is an upside to this. It will challenge people to create more content and to be creative. I can't be the only one that is annoyed by videos that get millions of views made with little to no effort, while people like us who put in a lot of heart and effort into our work barely gets viewed...
