    Why Ebert Hates 3-D

Great topic OP. Discussion explosion! Just like to add that I'm on the fringe of my peers as I disagree with most of Eberts reviews. Probably because I'm a punk rocker at heart and like to reject anything I see as"inside the box". God, but I don't know...I do see the market driven side of...

    Why Ebert Hates 3-D

Ya I can't argue with that history. But at some point I feel it will stick. Maybe when it reaches a point that it's holographic, or interactive like in that video clip I linked.

    Why Ebert Hates 3-D

Ya, making stuff that is not even close to feature quality 3D, that is my point. It is, as if, with all the recent developments in digital cameras, Hollywood is trying to set another bar to keep indie film makers out. Keep in mind I like the use of 3d from a consumer perspective, it's just the...

    Jon Favreau

Sounds like he worked his ass off, getting acting gigs, then convinced Vince Vaughn to help him get the directing job on Elf? But how you go from mildly successful actor with one directorial debut, to getting signed to direct Iron Man. Seems like you either go the road of the academy or work...

    watch THE RAVEN

Level of polish is amazing. The art direction is pretty good. But why would you bother with levitating a car to smash the bot, why not just directly levitate the bot and smash it. Just nitpicking on a really awesome piece of work. kudos to who ever made this. Also that parkour was pretty...
