Taking It To The Next Step

Hello Lad. This is the one I always suggests as the most bang for your buck. Panasonic DVX 100 A/B is amazing. HD quality is very good and the user interface is simple but very unique. It runs any where from 1,200 to 2,000 USD ($)

I agree and disagree with CDCosta. It is too short to really tell but I have seen a lot of "good ideas" that get made into shitty movies any ways (not comparing yours) I'm sure if you spent the time constructing the story or met with a indie screenwriter in your town (or on the web like me!)...

Looking for a Feature Legnth Script!

What you need to do is come up with the story, point by point and have someone else write a script for dialogue and such. This works because you don't have to be an amazing screenwriter or pay lots of money but you still are connected to the story creatively because it's your story.

I don't live in New jersey but an old film partner of mine does. Do you have an email?

    Canon Vixia

Well... With sound and film (even digital) is that the sound should be done separately. It has the ability to record to the camera so that shouldn't be an issue, and for lights, just do a manual white balance on a glossy piece of paper.

At 0: 42 you go from a medium shot of David to a close up. When you go to the close up the camera should have a slightly different angle to it. This can be displeasing to anyones eyes, even if the audience can’t quite figure out why. Even if it’s a slight angle, a change is better. This is...

    Which camera for my mac?

I forgot to add that it does have a nice film-like 24 frame progressive capture and can record to MINI DV as well. The Panasonic DVX I mentioned is just my personal favorite for DV. What exactly did you need a camera for again?

    Which camera for my mac?

Plenty of thoughts. Ahaha... I didn't mean to double post by the way. Which JVC HD100? There are a few models I thought... I think it's a very good camera for the price (usually running from what I've seen at about $4,500 retail) Great HDV AND DV Qualities. It's very sturdy and packs a punch...

Well naturally protect your idea and vision FIRST, then hit me up. Haha.

    Which camera for my mac?

Why not just buy the Panasonic DVX 100B? Around $3,000 USD including case, tripod, and things like that. Even the DVX 100A is good as well. Although I do enjoy the Canon 5D Mark 2 that Amcast suggest I still think the Panasonic DVX 100A/B is the best "bang for your buck" I personally love this...

    Help Need a Screen Play.

Marko I would be willing to hear some of your ideas and possible draft a (cheap or free, depending) screen play for you on the condition that I am given credit for writing it and am allowed to use it for my portfolio. I am a current film major at Portland State University and have a background...
